Molly's Improvement Meme

Here's the improvement meme I talked about. o3o I really like how good it turned out, way to go, ~peacefulinvasion

Let's get started then. (I put a question mark at the end of "2009" cause I can't exactly remember when we had this version of Molly, but it was around there)

Before: Before, Molly used to wear a lot of leather, leather jackets, leather pants, leather mini skirts. x.x Ugh. Too many leather. Her clothes were waayy too modern for FMA, for reasons...but me and =Frog-Girl25 eventually came to the realization that if we wanted to take this story more seriously, we would have to change Molly, including her wardrobe. So she was no longer gothic, biker chick-esque.
Molly used to also be very bitchy, very conceited, and a lot of people, a lot, found her attractive. x-x; Her and Ed's relationship was nothing but lust that we tried to pass off for love, but she was just wayy to bitchy, and she would constantly get away with it. After a while, I got real tired of the attitude problem we gave her, and realized that it would never work well with Ed, we decided to take advantage of our further plot development and revamped the shit out of her. Lol.

She didn't even have parents, I mean, she didn't lose them or anything, most of the time she was just slapped onto the FMA world without any explanation, it was really confusing, dysfunctional, and way too much for us to keep up with. We call her grunge!Molly. (even if it's not so grunge lol)

tl;dr: Molly used to be a gothic-ish "whore", who was on the verse of a Bitchy Sue, i.e, she was a huge bitch but for some reason, everyone still loved her for it. While I find plenty of flaws in the old Molly that could've worked, she was too much to work with, and toward the end, we just got sick of her.

After: When we revamped her, not only did we finally give her parents, but we worked on her background, as well as where she came from. =Frog-Girl25 wanted to make her Drachman, because we hardly saw any Drachman OCs and plus, we were both further interested in Drachma at the time, and we had so many ideas. So with that, we gave her a family, just a mother and a father named Yulia and Demyan Kaledin. We revamped her personality and wardrobe. Since she lived in Drachma, which is said to be snowing and cold all the time, we obviously gave her weather appropriate clothing, and different interests. We kept her religious because we realized this was something very important to both Mollies. (yes, old Molly was religious too .A.; ) and it clashed well with Ed's beliefs of facts and science.

Since we were sick of Molly's old bitchy and impatient attitude(and realized it would never work well with Ed since they got into way too many fights), we revamped her to be more patient, less judgmental, and had bright dreams of a better future. We tried to make her more human and a better fit to our future story. (Which we hope one day we can publish)

tl;dr: We stripped Molly of her old personality and gave her one we liked a lot better, we kept her spiritual, and we actually gave her a background, a family, more interests, fears, strengths, dreams, and much, much more. We can say we certainly like this Molly better.

I recently updated it but it wasn't much, just a few small changes. We're still developing her. o3o
